Seiko Arctura Kinetic Chronograph SNL045P1 is an analogue quartz watch equipped with an Automatic Generating System developed by SEIKO. It generates the electric energy to power the watch, utilizing the movement of the arm, and stores it in the kinetic electricity storage unit which requires no periodical replacement unlike conventional button-type batteries. These ultra-modern men’s kinetic watch has sleek styling and advanced technological features. Seiko’s Arctura range was launched as a flagship for their cutting edge kinetic technology. Alongside the superb movements that powered these watches was a bold and audacious design that really redefined what a watch should look like.
The Auto-Quartz or Kinetic Movement is a more recent evolution of the automatic watch uses a self-winding mechanism to charge a battery or capacitor which in turn powers a quartz movement. This automatic quartz arrangement provides the accuracy of quartz without the need to replace the battery or capacitor until it reaches the end of its life, which may be decades. This watch has Stainless Steel Case and Band with Three Fold Clasp with Push Button Release, silver tone dial with sapphire crystal. The water resistant of this watch is 100m. When the watch is fully charged, the watch will keep operating for approximately 5 months. Analog time is shown by small dial residing at 6 o’clock position along with this time keeping a date window is also at 6 hour. The stopwatch can measure up to 45 minutes in 1/5 second increments. The measured time is indicated by two stopwatch hands that move independently of the hands for time indication. After 48 minutes, the stopwatch will stop automatically. The watch is so designed that the calendar changes once in 24 hours. Additional functions are Energy depletion forewarning function and overcharge prevention function. Chrono hands are shown in blue lumibrite color while regular timekeeping hands are silver tone. Additionally, the watches were cast of stainless steel with an added durability factor (high-graded), and equipped with an anti-glare sapphire crystal.
