Tissot T-Touch watches are here!

Its a grand day for us. We now carry the Tissot T-Touch watches!

Tissot is a very well-respected Swiss Watch manufacturer.  Since their establishment long back in 1883 they have delivered numerous great watches. The T-Touch is the latest addition to their long line of watches. And it is, by any means, not a minor addition. The T-Touch watches beam with style and innovative functions. The most impressive feature is the way you can access all the functions of the watch – through a Touch Crystal. The crystal is a touch sensitive sapphire crystal. Since it is sapphire it is scratch resistant and also anti-reflective. To use the touch features all you have to do is activate the touch mechanism by clicking the button at the 3’O clock position and then touch the crystal at the function you want to use :

1. Compass: If you touch near the compass the watch goes in compass mode. The hour and minute hands line up straight and act as the compass needle pointing to the North. It looks really cool and works great. Its amazing how sensitive and accurate the compass is!

2. Altimeter: If you touch near the altimeter the hands will again line up giving an indication of the current altitude. The digital display displays the actual altitude in meters or feet (you can choose). The hand feature is great because it gives an indication of whether your altitude is increasing or decreasing roughly, so that you don’t always have to read the digital readings.

3. Similarly the barometer gives the actual pressure (again with the hands as well as the digital display) and the thermometer gives the current temperature (in degree celcius or F – again you can choose).

4. It has the standard features of a chronograph and alarm as well.

Overall, I am really impressed with the T-Touch. It is a watch that is bound to impress anyone you show it to. And the great thing about the T-Touch is that it looks really great as well (as opposed to some of the other multi-function watches which can look bulky – some people like that, some don’t). So its really a multi-purpose watch that will go well in numerous situations. Its great to wear to a party or a casual outing – it looks good and is sure to attract some attention. And with all its functionality its a really great outdoor watch for hiking or just travelling and map-reading.
