It also features surfacing speed warning function and over depth indication warning function. The depth alarm of this watch automatically sounds when the diver exceeds the preset depth. The luminous hand indicators divided by colors for respective functions. For Time – Hour hand, minute hand and second hands are Green luminous part. For depth – Depth hand, maximum depth hand are orange luminous part. Sub depth hand Orange color paint part. The power cell life-time forecast function of this watch notifies the diver when the power cell is almost dead.
The ‘Analog’ part in the name, indicates that these Aqualand watches are completely analogue i.e. there is no digital display as in other Aqualand watches. There is an extra hand for depth display. The depth can be measured up to 55 meters. It has simultaneous display of time, current depth and maximum depth which is essential for any diving watch. To top that, it features a warning system for safe diving which includes surfacing speed warning system (alarm sounds if you are surfacing too fast ) and exceeding maximum depth warning system (alarm sounds if you exceed the maximum depth). Of course, you can set the target maximum depth in the watch beforehand. Citizen has also cleverly used different colored hands for different functions.
