In one of my previous posts I had talked about why diamond watches make the perfect gift for that special woman in your life. That doesn’t necessarily restrict it to your wife or girl friend, but even your mother or sister or just a friend who has been there for you. Nothing says ‘You are important to me’ to a woman like diamonds do. We men might not be fastinated by them, but I read an interesting theory recently why women might be. Diamonds are expensive, they are rare. So if you, as a man, are able to get them for your lady – then it shows that you are a man of means and will go to lengths to please your lady. Its the fact that diamonds are precious (and hard to get) that shows that the lady is equally precious to you.
This gives a good segway into the watch I want to take a quick look at today, its the Seiko Premier Ladies Diamond small second SRKZ93P1 30 diamonds watch.

Its subtle, yet beautiful. The highlight, obviously, is 30 diamonds on the bezel. Another noticable feature is the small second hand at the 6’o clock position. Small second hands look really nice on women’s watches for some reason. It just adds a bit of sophitiscation to the simple design. The inner dial and the small second dial is mother of pearl . Roman numerals for the markers. The watch is 100m water resistant, which is great since normally you don’t see women’s dress watches rated to such depths. It features a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating and a fold over clasp with push button release. The size is just nice with 23mm glass diameter and only 6mm thickness.
