An automatic watch (also called a self-winding watch) is a mechanical watch, typically with a balance wheel escapement, whose mainspring is wound by the motion of the wearer’s arm, instead of having to be wound manually every day. The case looks more expensive than it is. The back of the watch is covered in a mineral crystal so that the inner workings are clear. You can see the jewels and the little weight that moves around to wind the mainspring.
The mineral crystal on the front is nice and thick. Being a purely mechanical watch, it is a bit on the heavy side. The dial markers glow in the dark along with the hour and minute hands. The day display is in both English and Spanish. It is a very nice looking watch, much better in person than web pic. The automatic movement is nice and it doesn’t need batteries. The design of the face is really cool as it looks white with a subtle sliver grid pattern that adds style to the design. It’s an analog watch with hour, minute and second hands. Hour and minutes hand are luminous and luminous dots on every hour that glows in dark. This watch looks very nice on the wrist, not big but big enough in the classic sense of watch size. This lovely accessory features a stainless steel case and bezel, striking white round dial with polished silver and black tone hands and luminous accents, and a convenient analog day and date display at 3 o’clock position.
