The watch itself is a superb piece and it had been on my wish-list for a long time. When Creation Watches offered a huge discount on it, along with free expedited international shipping (which I came to know through a PayPal e-newsletter), I bought it. One problem with shipping to India is payment of customs duty. The shipment gets held at India Customs office until the recipient pays the necessary customs duty. This happened with me also--the shipment was held up at customs till DHL paid the duty on my behalf. This delay can be avoided if the seller, Creation Watches, collects the customs duty at the time of sale itself, and makes the payment directly to India Customs. Many vendors do this; your shipping & logistics partner DHL can help you with this or do it on your behalf.
